Xi¡¯an Ronghua New Materials Inc. Ltd. is a joint-stock hi-tech enterprise consisting of Xi¡¯an Ronghua Group Co., Ltd., SDIC Venture Capital Investment Company and Qinghai Salt Lake Institute that incorporating scientific research and development, production and sales. The registered capital is RMB 50million. The main business is R&D on lithium battery anode materials (cobalt and manganese series), production of hi-tech products with independent intellectual property right. The lithium cobalt (lithium battery anode material) project, with 1000 ton annual yield, was appraised as National Demo Project for Hi-tech Industrialization in 2002. Now the producing capacity is increased to 600 tons per year.  Lithium battery has extensive application in military, airflight, aviation and many other industrial and civil fields. There¡¯s a large market and development space. Now there¡¯re some 30 lithium battery manufacturers in mainland China in total, Tianjin Lishen, Harbin Guangyu, Weiyu Chemicals, Xiamen Baolong, Shenzhen Biyadi, Bangkai and Siqi and so on is share most part of the market. It is undercounted that there are some 20 lithium battery manufacturers by far in Shenzhen, which has became the base for the R&D and production of lithium battery. The application and development of battery, leads the growth of lithium cobalt industry. Lithium cobalt is the sole commoditized battery anode material at present. As the anode of lithium battery, it is necessary for basic manufacture. The lithium cobalt manufacturers in instruction are: Xi¡¯an Ronghua, Beida Xianxing, Zhongxin Guo¡¯an, Wuxi Wanda and Guizhou Xincai. The products are tested in electric performance by No.18 Station, the Ministry of Information Industry, and is proved that possesses international standard. At present, we are the only lithium cobalt supplier of No.18 Station, the Ministry of Information Industry; Tianjin Lishen Company has contracted purchase & sales agreement; Shenzhen Hunyu and Wenzhou Jinlu established long-term agreement relationship with total amount over 3000 tons; irregular purchase order from Xiamen Baolong, Shenzhen Bangkai and Huayuebao. Being a stable powerful supplier on lithium battery anode materials market, Ronghua enjoy a Top4 rank in sales amount in mainland China. The company¡¯s ultra-fine powder lab, equipped with advanced types of machines for granularity experiment, imported standard granularity analyzer capable in automatic analysis. Our chemical analysis and structural analysis are undertaken by National Grade II, No.213 Station. Jun.27, 2001, the Municipal Science Committee announced file (Ref.(2001)54) authenticating us Hi-tech Enterprise. Now we¡¯ve been sponsored by Xi¡¯an ¡®2001 Special Fund for Hi-tech Industrialized Development Plan and obtained IS09001£º2000 certificate awarded by NQA on Oct.31,2001. Jun.2002, we are supported by RMB500 thousand, ¡®2002 Tech Plan Supporting Fund Xi¡¯an. Jul. 2002, our project was listed into the Torch Plan, Ministry of Technology. Dec. 2002, our project was permitted as Demo Projects for Industrialization Demonstration. The low-temperature semi-solid phase preparation method developed by Ronghua Technology has won the municipal 2nd Prize and provincial 3rd Prize for Technology Development. By estimate, an industrial system about RMB0.5billion will be formed within future 3-5 years. That will make Ronghau a key base of R&D and production for lithium battery raw materials. |
